Brian Harrison, a Republican member of the Texas State House representing the 10th district since 2021, posted a series of statements on his social media account between December 6 and December 7, 2025. The posts address his involvement in shutting down a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) program in Texas and respond to political opposition.

On December 6, Harrison posted a brief message stating “Fact.”

Later that day, he elaborated on recent developments regarding DEI initiatives in Texas. In a post timestamped December 6 at 21:19 UTC, Harrison wrote: “Finally had some GOOD news to share with @jamesparkershow! After spending months exposing a multi BILLION dollar DEI program in Texas, I forced it to shut down this week! THANK YOU to every patriot who raised hell about this the past few months. We. Are. WINNING!”

On December 7 at 14:57 UTC, Harrison commented on political dynamics within the state: ” I have to admit, a DEMOCRAT DONOR who’s also an alcoholic, addict, womanizer, adulterer, and who makes his living grifting off government contracts would fit in the Austin swamp way better than I do! Unsurprising RINOs are trying to recruit someone like this to take me out.”

Harrison was elected to represent Texas’s 10th House district after replacing Jake Ellzey in 2021.
