On August 4, 2025, Harrison posted: “Prepare for a bunch of bad theater from Texas Republican leadership over the next few days…” (August 4, 2025).
Later that day, he provided an update regarding Speaker Burrows’ response to ongoing political events. He wrote: “Update: Speaker burrows took NO ACTION yesterday… No Call of the House…. No warrants…. Nothing.” (August 4, 2025).
Harrison also announced his appearance on a national news program to discuss legislative issues. In another post from August 4, he stated: “Joining “Newsline” on @NEWSMAX at 12:40pm CT to discuss the latest on Texas redistricting. Tune in!” (August 4, 2025).
Harrison was elected to the Texas State House in a special election in 2021 after Jake Ellzey vacated the seat. As a member of the legislature, he has been vocal about procedural and policy issues affecting state governance.
