Brian Harrison, a Republican member of the Texas State House representing the 10th district since 2021, posted a series of statements on his social media account addressing issues related to diversity initiatives, state funding for transgender programs, and legislative leadership.

On March 26, 2026, Harrison commented on diversity efforts with the statement: “Just can’t increase ‘DIVERSITY of the class!’ enough…”

Later that day, he criticized the Texas legislature’s policies regarding transgender issues. He wrote: “FACT: The ‘Republican’ Texas legislature has been forcing taxpayers to fund transgender indoctrination for years. Proud to be leading the fight to end that insanity.” This message was posted on March 26, 2026.

On March 27, 2026, Harrison addressed internal legislative matters involving Speaker Burrows and James Talarico. He stated: “You won’t believe this…. after a year of inaction Speaker Burrows is now asking JAMES TALARICO to help decide how to ‘punish the Democrats’ for breaking quorum. (Never forget: Talarico helped elect Burrows.) I discussed on @ktrhnews “

Harrison has served in the Texas State House since winning election in 2021 after Jake Ellzey vacated the seat.
