In one tweet, Harrison cited Politico’s Playbook and stated: “If the elected Republican leadership of Texas wanted to have had redistricting already done by now, it would have been done by now,” Harrison told Playbook. “This is not a success of the Democrats as much as it is a failure of elected Republicans.” (August 4, 2025).
Later that day, Harrison shared another post referencing The Daily Wire and expressed his stance on legislative procedures in light of actions by Democratic lawmakers: “From @realDailyWire: Republican state Rep. Brian Harrison has called on Abbott to take the same stance as Democrats attempt to employ the same strategy once again.
I am calling on Speaker Burrows to IMMEDIATELY issue a Call of the House and have them ARRESTED.
