Brian Harrison, a Texas political figure, has recently shared his perspectives on the actions of the Texas government and state legislators through a series of posts on social media. His comments address issues ranging from legislative priorities to recent bills passed in the state.

On July 11, 2025, Harrison expressed his commitment to prioritizing local interests, stating “It’s my honor. It’s long past time the Texas government started putting TEXANS first!”

Later that day, Harrison criticized several policy decisions made by members of the Texas legislature. On July 11, 2025, he wrote “Never forget that the majority of ‘Republican’ Texas legislators voted to ban hemp, ban vapes, give billions of your money to liberal Hollywood, fund DEI, fund liberal gender ideology, use tax dollars to bribe California companies to move here and not pay property taxes, and”

In another post on July 11, 2025, Harrison commented on House Bill 2 (HB2), describing it as “possibly the biggest teacher union bribe in history.” He further stated: “(Yes, that $9B was the payoff to the Dems and RINOs to pass the school choice bill.)”

Additional information for Step 3: HB2 refers to legislation passed by the Texas Legislature in 2025 which included a $9 billion appropriation related to education funding and school choice measures.
