In a post made at 22:11 UTC, Harrison stated, “Texas House ‘Republican’ leadership spent more time cutting (fake) fines on the quorum breaking Democrats than they spent cutting your property taxes. Think about that.”

Later that evening at 22:27 UTC, he continued his criticism by posting, “I’m fed up with the ‘Republican’ Texas government taxing Texans out of their homes. ELIMINATE PROPERTY TAXES!!!”

Harrison was elected to represent Texas’s 10th House district in 2021 after succeeding Jake Ellzey.
