Brian Harrison, a Republican member of the Texas State House representing the 10th district since 2021, has used his social media platform to criticize the Texas government and its approach to issues such as education and conservative values.

On March 27, 2026, Harrison posted: “Texas is on the front lines in the battle for the future of western civilization… but the Texas government has been asleep at the switch. Joined @HeartsofOakUK to expose the shocking truth of how the corrupt Austin uniparty been betraying conservative Texas voters for years!”

Later that day, he referenced a historical event with another post: “Remember Goliad!… and may the Texas government once again start defending LIBERTY as fiercely as those who sacrificed all so that we may be free.”

On March 28, 2026, Harrison addressed concerns about diversity initiatives in education leadership in Texas: “While Trump is ending DEI, the Texas government keeps putting DEI ADVOCATES in charge of education. Can you defend the (now deleted) tweets in the thread below, @teainfo and @TAMULawSchool? cc: @AAGDhillon @CivilRights”

Harrison was elected to his current legislative seat after Jake Ellzey vacated it. He has positioned himself as a critic of what he describes as complacency within state leadership regarding conservative priorities.
