Brian Harrison, a Republican member of the Texas State House representing the 10th district since 2021, has recently used his social media platform to comment on political developments within the Texas legislature.

On March 10, 2026, Harrison posted on X (formerly Twitter) criticizing fellow legislator James Talarico’s role in electing Dustin Burrows as Speaker of the Texas House. Harrison wrote, “Talarico voted for and helped elect Dustin Burrows as the “Republican” Speaker of the Texas House… and Burrows then gave Talarico multiple VICE CHAIRMANSHIPS. He still holds these Vice Chairmanships. Betrayal.”

The following day, March 11, Harrison announced an upcoming radio appearance to discuss these issues further. He stated, “Joining @CSalcedoShow on @KSEV700 at 8:00am CT to discuss. Tune in!”

Later that same day, Harrison commented on property taxes in Texas with a brief post: “Madness. ELIMINATE PROPERTY TAXES.”

Harrison was elected to the Texas State House in 2021 after Jake Ellzey vacated the seat for a position in Congress.
