On July 12, 2025, Harrison criticized the Texas legislature’s use of surplus funds. He stated, “Update: the Texas legislature squandered the surplus on corporate welfare, teacher unions, and Holllywood.”

Later that day, Harrison addressed claims regarding property tax relief in Texas. In a post dated July 12, 2025, he wrote: “The shocking truth the Austin swamp doesn’t want you to know about their BS “$50 billion property tax relief” scam:

1) that $50 billion dollars came from YOU

2) it was NOT sent back to you/taxpayers in the form of lower property tax bills

3) it was sent to local GOVERNMENTS”
