Brian Harrison, a public figure known for his active engagement on social media, has recently expressed his views on several issues concerning Texas politics and governance. Through a series of tweets, Harrison has shared his perspectives on matters ranging from fiscal policies to community events.
On June 18, 2025, Harrison criticized what he perceives as the priorities of the “Austin uniparty.” He questioned whether they favor “high property taxes, corporate welfare, DEI, or liberal gender ideology,” and concluded with a call for change by stating that “Texans. Deserve. Better.”
The following day, June 19, 2025, Harrison invited the public to join an event scheduled for June 27th. The event promises “a fun evening” featuring a BBQ food truck and live music. Tickets are complimentary but limited in availability. He encouraged people to “Reserve tickets here”.
Later that same day, Harrison voiced his disapproval of a government decision involving financial allocations to the film industry. He highlighted that the government voted to allocate “$1.5 BILLION of your money to liberal Hollywood.” Expressing his dissatisfaction with this decision, he urged Governor Greg Abbott to veto SB22 and advocated for returning these funds to citizens by reducing property taxes. His tweet emphasized his stance by asking Texans how they felt about it and stating “I think it’s outrageous.”
