Brian Harrison, a member of the Texas State House, recently posted a series of messages on his social media account expressing support for diversity initiatives in law school leadership.

On March 26, 2026, Harrison wrote, “So happy” to be “promoting DIVERSITY in law school leadership”. In a subsequent post made on the same day, he stated, “So pleased” to be part of the “effort to ensure the community of law deans reflects the FULL DIVERSITY…”. He also added another message: “Leader in DIVERSITY!”.

Harrison was elected as a Republican to represent Texas’s 10th House district in 2021. He succeeded Jake Ellzey as state representative.
