Brian Harrison, a Republican member of the Texas State House representing the 10th district since 2021, raised concerns on social media about the actions of his party’s leadership in the Texas Legislature. On September 5, 2025, Harrison questioned his colleagues’ efforts regarding key legislative priorities. In a post published that day, he wrote: “Why wasn’t EVERY TxLege Republican fighting against the corrupt House ‘leadership’ team as they systematically stopped GOP priorities… and all property tax relief/elimination bills… during all three sessions??”.
Shortly after, Harrison shared another post containing only links: “https://t.co/O8s7k2diGA https://t.co/kKrW8xhypm”, also dated September 5, 2025.
Later that day, he addressed what he referred to as the “Austin uniparty,” posting: “Hey, Austin uniparty, here’s your sign! https://t.co/WKE4GLLwNq”.
Harrison has represented Texas’s 10th House district since his election in 2021. He succeeded Jake Ellzey after Ellzey moved to Congress.
