Brian Harrison, a Republican member of the Texas State House representing the 10th district since 2021, posted several comments on his Twitter account on August 4, 2025. The tweets addressed issues within the Texas House and promoted his upcoming media appearance.
In one post from August 4, Harrison questioned a recent hiring decision by Speaker Burrows, writing, “Don’t forget who Speaker Burrows hired to be the chief parliamentary officer of the Texas House to advise him on issues of quorum… a FORMER OBAMA WHITE HOUSE LAWYER.”
Shortly after, he announced an appearance on national television with another tweet: “Joining @CBSNews at 4:00pm CT. Tune in!” This message was posted at 20:45 UTC.
In a third tweet that same evening, Harrison commented on proceedings in the Texas House with a critical tone: “It wasn’t even good theater…. Didn’t even take away their parking spots. ”
Harrison was elected to the Texas State House in 2021 after Jake Ellzey vacated the seat for District 10.
