Brian Harrison, a Republican member of the Texas State House representing the 10th district since 2021, has commented on recent developments concerning Democratic lawmakers who broke quorum in the previous year.

On March 19, 2026, Harrison posted: “I’m grateful House Administration is reminding the world that absolutely NOTHING was done to the Democrats who broke quorum last year.”

Later that day, he added: “BREAKING: You won’t believe this!… James Talarico will now officially help decide how to ‘punish the Democrats’ who broke quorum last year!! Can’t make this up!.. I explain below…”

In a subsequent post on March 19, Harrison addressed his followers and Texans at large: “I hear this a lot. If you’re not following me on X, you’re not getting the TRUTH about the ‘Republican’ Texas government. Texans deserve the truth. Texans deserve liberty. Texans deserve better.”

Harrison was elected to his current position in 2021 after replacing Jake Ellzey as state representative for Texas’s 10th House district.
