Brian Harrison, a Republican elected to the Texas State House in 2021 to represent the state’s 10th House district, has raised concerns on social media about recent redistricting efforts and legislative priorities in Texas.
On July 28, 2025, Harrison wrote, “Trump asked Texas to redistrict because the future of America is on the line… but the Austin establishment appears too busy… trying to ban hemp! https://t.co/8HE4A4oKkW”
The following day, July 29, 2025, he criticized actions by state lawmakers: “Texas elected Republicans should be doing everything we can to make sure Congress doesn’t fall to radical Democrats…
But the Texas House stacked the redistricting committee with Democrats and turned the redistricting hearings into DNC propaganda sessions.

Later that same day, Harrison posted a question for his followers: “If you care about liberty… has the Texas government been on the right track or the wrong track over the past 10 years?”
Harrison assumed office after winning a special election in 2021 for Texas’ 10th House district. He succeeded Jake Ellzey, who vacated his seat after being elected to Congress.
