Brian Harrison, a Republican member of the Texas State House representing the 10th district since 2021, posted a series of tweets on January 20, 2026, addressing his stance on legislative hearings and media criticism.

In one tweet posted at 21:57 UTC, Harrison stated, “The liberal media is big mad that I’m demanding Legislative hearings to fight back against Sharia law! The more that leftist ‘media’ attacks me, the more committed I am to fighting to save Texas. This is what being over the target looks like. Not stopping.”
