Brian Harrison, a Republican member of the Texas State House representing the 10th district since 2021, has used his social media platform to voice strong opinions on state policies and recent legislative developments.
On August 2, 2025, Harrison criticized what he described as the “Austin establishment,” stating: “The Austin establishment wants to tax Texans out of their homes… Force them to fund DEI, liberal gender ideology, corporate welfare, and Hollywood… And steal liberty by turning Texas into a nanny state. Join me in telling them HELL NO!”
Later that day, Harrison announced an upcoming media appearance regarding redistricting news in Texas: “Joining @Bannons_WarRoom at 9am CT with breaking news on Texas redistricting. Tune in!” (August 2, 2025).
In a subsequent post on August 2, 2025, Harrison reported progress in the legislative process: “Texas House Redistricting Committee votes 12-6 to advance the redistricting map to the full House. A major win for grassroots activists who forced action! The real test is next week… we must vote IMMEDIATELY… and Texas Republicans have all the power they need to do it!”
Harrison was elected to represent Texas’s 10th House district after winning a special election in 2021. He succeeded Jake Ellzey and has since positioned himself as an advocate for conservative priorities within the legislature.
