Former Waxahachie High School standout and current North Carolina Tar Heels player, Bryten Burns will compete in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship.

They begin the tournament as a number seven seed against the seventh seeded Ohio State Buckeyes.

The first game is on Friday, May 16 at 4:05 p.m.
