On Friday, May 16, former Waxahachie High School standout Bryten Burns’ current collegiate team the North Carolina Tar Heels lost 6-9 against the Ohio State Buckeyes in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship.

The game took place at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium at 4:05 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Ohio State Buckeyes in the tournament.

The North Carolina Tar Heels’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 2:40 p.m. at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium.
