David Cook, a Republican and current member of the Texas State House, recently shared updates on his campaign activities and positions via social media. In a series of posts, Cook highlighted his campaign efforts, religious beliefs, and stance on pro-life issues as he seeks election to Senate District 22.
On February 7, 2026, Cook expressed gratitude for his campaign volunteers and allied campaigns: “Thank you to a GREAT group of Block-walkers who walked with me today! It was great to be joined by the @AbbottCampaign and the @Ellen4Texas campaign. Each conversation strengthens our movement and builds the path to Election Day.
Remember, early voting is February 17th–27th and https://t.co/26slMwBhHA“.
The following day, Cook posted a Bible verse reflecting his faith: “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” – Jeremiah 29:13 https://t.co/EicaDQcPUb (February 8, 2026).
Later on February 8, Cook addressed his position on abortion rights and acknowledged an endorsement: “Every life is a sacred gift from God. I’m thankful to have the support of @TXRightToLife in my race for Senate District 22 as we work to support mothers, defend the unborn, and uphold the dignity of every human life. #ProLife https://t.co/w4hj4NdwMl”.
Cook has served in the Texas State House since being elected in 2021 to represent District 96 after succeeding Bill Zedler.
