David Cook, a member of the Texas State House, shared updates about his community involvement and recognition of local leaders through posts on his social media account on February 23, 2026.
In a post published in the morning, Cook described his activities at the start of the week. He wrote, “This morning was a great start to the week. I grabbed breakfast with my grandson Tripp before taking him to school, then headed straight to the polls to visit with voters. I’m grateful for everyone taking the time to Vote Early. Tripp says, ‘Vote for Cookie!'” (February 23, 2026).
Later that day, Cook highlighted former State Representative Bill Zedler’s service in House District 96. He stated, “COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT: Former State Representative Bill Zedler faithfully served the families of HD 96 with a servant’s heart, grounded in Scripture and love for this community for 18 years. The Congressman Ron Wright Award exemplifies the qualities of servant leadership and it is” (February 23, 2026).
