David Cook, a Texas State Representative, recently used his social media platform to acknowledge Labor Day, celebrate McLennan County’s anniversary, and promote an upcoming political event.

On September 1, 2025, Cook posted: “Hard work is a Texas tradition. Today we honor the men and women whose dedication keeps our communities moving forward. Happy Labor Day, Texas!”

The following day, he marked a local milestone with the message: “Happy 175th Anniversary McLennan County !!!” (September 2, 2025).

Later on September 2, Cook invited constituents to an event in Waco: “Join me in Waco on Sept. 16 for our Meet the Candidates event. I look forward to hearing your thoughts and sharing my plan for Senate District 22! #txlege
