David Cook, a member of the Texas State House, has recently made several statements on social media addressing issues related to state law and education. Cook, who was elected in 2021 as a Republican representing Texas’ 96th House district, used his platform to discuss legislative priorities and scholarship opportunities.
On March 10, 2026, Cook posted: “I’m proud to stand with the Founding Members of the Sharia Free Texas Caucus.
