What a great event for a great cause put on by the Goodfellas !!” The same evening, he described the scale and history of the event: “PACKED house for Waco GoodFellas’ Christmas in July Fundraiser in Waco! Over 30 years ago, founder Randy Crook started this non-profit to share the miracle of Christmas with families in need in Central Texas. Thanks for inviting me, Rep. @PatrickJCurry1! “
The following day, on July 21, Cook publicly acknowledged support from another lawmaker: “I’m humbled and honored to have the support of my friend and colleague Rep. @PatrickJCurry1. His endorsement means a great deal, and I’m grateful for his trust as we work together to deliver results for McLennan County and all of Senate District 22. #txlege”
