David Cook, a member of the Texas State House, recently shared several messages on his Twitter account addressing endorsements, faith, and Presidents’ Day.

On February 14, 2026, Cook expressed gratitude for an endorsement from a local organization. He posted, “Thanks @TxValuesAction for your endorsement and for all that y’all do for Texas Families!”

The following day, on February 15, 2026, Cook referenced a biblical passage in a tweet. He wrote, “We love because he first loved us.” – 1 John 4:19

On February 16, 2026, Cook marked Presidents’ Day with a message recognizing past leaders of the nation. He stated, “Today we honor the Presidents who have led our Nation through challenge and triumph. Presidents’ Day reminds us that service, leadership, and faith in America’s promise are worth celebrating every day! “

David Cook is a Republican who was elected to the Texas State House in 2021 to represent the state’s 96th House district. He succeeded Bill Zedler as state representative.
