David Cook, a Republican member of the Texas State House representing the 96th district, shared several updates on his social media account in early December 2025. His posts included a biblical message, an event honoring a pro-life advocate, and remarks about his legislative record.

On December 7, 2025, Cook posted a religious quotation: “Be strong and courageous… for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.” – Deuteronomy 31:6

The following day, he commented on an event recognizing individuals involved in the pro-life movement. On December 8, 2025, Cook wrote: “It was great to see the new Executive Director of @ProLifeTexans Joe Pojman this evening at the Texans for Life Annual Benefit Dinner, where the life, memory, and legacy of Kyleen Wright was honored.”

Later that same day, Cook shared praise regarding his work as a legislator. In his post from December 8, 2025, he stated: “Rep. David Cook is a proven conservative leader who delivers results for Texas. David has grit. He’s stood strong on the issues that matter most: securing our border, supporting law enforcement officers, and standing up against bureaucratic overreach. David lives out his”

Cook began serving in the Texas State House in 2021 after being elected to represent District 96 and succeeded Bill Zedler in this role.
