The Lubbock Christian Chaparrals, featuring former Waxahachie High School standout Kadin Vire, dropped a 7-2 decision to the Oklahoma Christian Lady Eagles in their NCAA Division II softball matchup held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27.

The contest was played at Tom Heath Field at Lawson Plaza, marking the first meeting of the season between the two teams.

Vire went 1-for-3 at the plate and contributed 2 runs batted in.

Next up for the Chaparrals is another game against the Oklahoma Christian Lady Eagles at Tom Heath Field at Lawson Plaza, scheduled for Friday, Feb. 27, at 4 p.m.
