CITY OF IRVING: DART Introduces New On-Demand Service Option For Irving

Busdigital

City Of Irving issued the following announcement on Oct. 22.

DART recently launched its personalized, curb-to-curb GoLink service in South Irving. GoLink is designed to help riders get to their place of work, run an errand or connect to other DART services. Using a growing list of service providers, DART dispatches the closest vehicle to minimize waiting.

In the South Irving zone, the service operates out of Downtown Irving/Heritage Crossing Station, where GoLink riders can connect to other DART services. GoLink is offered 5 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday. The service does not operate on Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

All GoLink trips require a reservation booking. No walk-ons are allowed. Riders can book and pay for trips either with the GoPass app or by calling (214) 515-7272. The free app is available on the App Store and Google Play. Phone reservations must be made in advance, but only same-day trips are accepted. Phone reservations can be made starting 4:30 a.m., Monday-Friday.

Riders should purchase their fare using a contactless payment method, credit, debit or GoPass Tap card, either in the GoPass app or over the phone. Cash fares, paper passes and vouchers are not accepted.
