With only one contested race on Election Day in Johnson County, Republicans kept control of every county office.

The Precinct 3 county commissioners' seat was the only race with a Democratic opponent, as Chris Evans was vying to replace Republican Jerry Stringer. However, Mike White kept the seat Republican by gaining 13,263 of the votes in the precinct, according to unofficial results the Johnson County Elections Office reported. Evans collected 4,776 votes.

Precinct 1 County Commissioner Rick Bailey ran unopposed and kept his seat with 13,297 votes.

White’s decision to run for county commission vacated his Precinct 3 constable seat, which Republican Steve Williams won with 14,720 votes and no opposition.

Other incumbents the Elections Office reported were running unopposed who were reelected included:

Sheriff Adam King; Johnson County District Attorney Dale Hanna; 413th District Judge Bill Bosworth; County Attorney Bill Moore; Tax Assessor/Collector Scott Porter; Precinct 1 Constable Matt Wylie; and Precinct 2 Constable Adam Crawford.
