The City of Burleson understands the economic impact the COVID-19 pandemic has inflicted on small businesses.

To ensure local businesses remain afloat, the city has spearheaded the BTX Cares Grant Program to accommodate funding for small businesses in an effort to cover economic damages that have occurred during the pandemic.

Companies may be qualified to receive $2,000 in funds by filling out the application and supplying all needed documents to the office of Economic Development, Burleson City Hall, 141 W. Renfro St. between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Small businesses that qualify will be selected and funds distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while they last.

Incomplete submissions will be rejected.

The funds are coming through the CARES Act. For more information, business owners can visit the city website.
