Tiffany Lynch, the City of Burleson's Employee of the Quarter, was nominated and selected for her exemplary performance in the Public Safety Communications Department.
“Tiffany has shown great care in her approach to customer service,” states her nomination form. "She assists with the training of new employees, and always maintains a positive, can-do attitude."
Public safety communicators perform a vital role in keeping the public safe, healthy and protected. When staffing challenges arose this year, Tiffany volunteered to pick up shifts and continued to provide exceptional customer service despite the department's challenges.
“Tiffany went above and beyond to volunteer for shifts when the department was faced with a large staffing shortage,” states her nomination form.
Tiffany started with the City of Burleson in May 2020.
She was honored during the July 18, 2022, City Council meeting. The city's employee of the quarter award is based on an employee's efficiency, transparency, honesty, innovation and customer service, all of which make up the city's ethics statement.
