City crews will be conducting their semiannual grave cleanup at the cemeteries starting on Monday, Jan. 23.
The cleanup removes items left behind on graves to meet city ordinance, which ensures that the grounds are kept neat and are able to be maintained. The rules and regulations pertaining to gravesite decorations can be found here.
The cemeteries allow for additional decorations during the holidays, but they must be removed within 10 days. Those interested can remove their decorations before staff work begins.
