On Senior Day at KSM Bear Creek Farms, the seventh-ranked TCU equestrian team defeated No. 8 Fresno State with a score of 12-8 to conclude their regular season. After the competition, TCU recognized nine seniors for their contributions over the past four years.
This match marked the second time the two teams faced each other this season. Earlier in October, Fresno State had won when hosting TCU in California.
The event started with Fences, where after losing the first point, TCU responded by winning the next four points. Lily Muzzy, Lilly Goldstein, Lex Lipacis, and Jordyn Scelsa contributed points for TCU, with Lex Lipacis earning Most Outstanding Performer (MOP) honors.
In Reining, TCU continued to build momentum by securing three points before halftime. The point scorers were Cassie Hacking, Sydney Sargent, and Lannie-Jo Lisac. Lisac was named MOP on Senior Day.
After intermission, Fresno State narrowed the gap by winning three out of five points in Horsemanship. Sydney Feager and Piper Keller earned points for TCU in this segment, and Keller received MOP recognition.
TCU sealed its win in Flat as Hanna Dolan, Madi Lo Porto, and Lilly Goldstein added three more points. Goldstein also took home her fifth career MOP honor on Flat.
According to team records, TCU now holds a 22-12 all-time advantage over Fresno State and has won 12 out of 14 home matches against them. The Horned Frogs have ended the regular season with a winning record for five straight years and achieved a 5-1 home record this season.
Individual achievements from the meet included Maria Fagundes making her debut for TCU in Reining; Lex Lipacis notching her tenth career win in Fences and third career MOP; Lilly Goldstein recording her twentieth win in Fences and twenty-fifth on Flat; Lannie-Jo Lisac earning her third career—and second seasonal—MOP award in Reining; Piper Keller achieving her second career MOP in Horsemanship; and Cassie Hacking extending her win streak to five consecutive meets in Reining.
