TCU equestrian team recognized with academic awards for 2025-26 season

TCU Equestrian received recognition on Apr. 8 as the National Collegiate Equestrian Association announced its 2025-26 Academic Awards, with twelve athletes named to All-Academic Teams and twenty earning spots on the Academic Honor Roll.

The announcement highlights the academic achievements of student-athletes alongside their athletic commitments. These awards recognize students who have excelled in their studies while participating in collegiate equestrian competitions.

Six Horned Frogs were selected for the All-Academic First Team: Sydney Feager, Lilly Goldstein, Tatum Keller, Lannie-Jo Lisac, Jordyn Scelsa, and Victoria Zahorik. The Second Team included Kaylene Cunningham and Peyton Staat. Honorable mentions went to Anna Clausen, Hanna Dolan, Lex Lipacis, and Sydney Sargent.

Twenty TCU athletes were named to the NCEA Academic Honor Roll. This list includes Estelle Atkinson, Kylie Baker, Marcella Bee, Anna Clausen (who also received an honorable mention), Katalina Considine, Adele Cunningham, Kaylene Cunningham (Second Team honoree), Hanna Dolan (honorable mention), Sydney Feager (First Team honoree), Tiffany Geere, Lilly Goldstein (First Team honoree), Tatum Keller (First Team honoree), Lannie-Jo Lisac (First Team honoree), Haylee Martin, Julia Nickl, Peyton Rathbun, Jordyn Scelsa (First Team honoree), Peyton Staat (Second Team honoree), Jackie Stary and Victoria Zahorik (First Team honoree).

The full list of recipients reflects a strong commitment by TCU Equestrian to both athletic and academic excellence during the season.
