The TCU equestrian team will begin its pursuit of a national title against second-seeded Texas A&M in the quarterfinals of the National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) Championships on April 15. The match is set for Thursday afternoon at the World Equestrian Center.
This event marks TCU’s thirteenth appearance at the NCEA Championships, highlighting their consistent presence among collegiate equestrian programs. If TCU advances past Texas A&M, they will meet either Georgia or Oklahoma State in Friday’s semifinals.
The Horned Frogs enter postseason play with an 8-6 record, marking their fifth consecutive winning season—a program record. Of their eight victories this year, seven have come against ranked opponents. This is also the first meeting between TCU and Texas A&M this season; however, while Texas A&M leads the all-time series 12-9, TCU has won their last two postseason encounters.
Several individual riders have been recognized for outstanding performances this season. Four athletes—Lilly Goldstein (Fences and Flat), Lily Muzzy (Fences), Piper Keller (Horsemanship), and Cassie Hacking (Reining)—earned spots on Ariat All-America Teams. Additionally, twelve Horned Frogs were named to the All-Academic Team and twenty to the Academic Honor Roll for 2025-26.
TCU’s roster includes several sets of siblings: Anna and Rita Clausen; Adele and Kaylene Cunningham; Piper and Tatum Keller. The team advanced to its sixth straight Big 12 Championship meet earlier this spring but fell to Oklahoma State.
