City Of Garland issued the following announcement on Jan. 17.
All City of Garland offices, utility customer service and tax offices, libraries, recreation centers and senior centers will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The recycling center, transfer station and C.M. Hinton Jr. Regional Landfill will also be closed Jan. 20. Firewheel Golf Park will remain open.
There will be no disruption in trash or recycling collection. Find your pickup schedule at GarlandEWS.com. As a reminder, please have carts and material out and ready for pickup by 7 a.m. to ensure thorough and timely service.
