City Of Garland issued the following announcement on June 26.
As a response to health and safety concerns related to the continued spread of COVID-19 and due to the inability of Fire and Police vehicles and personnel to access the park when large crowds are present, the City of Garland has temporarily closed Windsurf Bay Park, located on the shores of Lake Ray Hubbard at 5556 Locust Grove Road.
