City Of Plano issued the following announcement on Nov. 12.
Give your discarded items new life at Texas Recycles Day 2020! Pack up your car and drive through 8:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Nov. 14, in the Chase Oaks Church parking lot (281 Legacy Dr.).
This year's event is scaled down to three popular collections:
Electronics Recycling - Some items may require a disposal fee (cash or check). Review the complete list of accepted items and fees. (https://unitedelectronicrecycling.com/items-we-accept/)
Paper Shredding - Free, onsite document shredding is limited to two banker's boxes per household. Shredding is not available to commercial businesses. Paper will be recycled.
Bicycles - Bikes for Tykes refurbishes bicycles to give to people in need. They accept child and adult bicycles, operational or not.
Residents are required to remain in their vehicles. Masks are mandatory for residents and staff.
