The Declaration of Disaster has been extended. This Declaration bans the use of fireworks in Johnson County (except for licensed professional fireworks displays sponsored by municipalities).
Please do not call 911 to report fireworks violations. If you need to report the illegal use of fireworks in the city of Alvarado please call:
817-556-6060 Or 817-558-0024. The Alvarado Police Department has staffed extra officers all weekend to assist with anyone violating this Declaration of Disaster Order.
