Starting July 16, 2022, the National Suicide Prevention has established the Lifeline across the United States. “The Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals in the United States.”
Just dial 988.
You never know when a crisis may arise, and having three digits to remember instead of 10 can be the difference that connects someone to a lifeline in those urgent moments.
