Tiffany Lynch, the City of Burleson’s Employee of the 2nd Quarter, was named Employee of the Year.
Tiffany was nominated and selected for her exemplary performance in the Public Safety Communications Department.
“Deciding the employee of the year is always challenging because we have such outstanding public servants," said Rick DeOrdio, Director of Human Resources, during the employee of the year presentation to the city council on December 12, 2022. “Public safety communicators perform a vital role in keeping the public safe, healthy and protected, and Tiffany went above and beyond during staffing challenges.”
When staffing challenges arose this year, Tiffany volunteered to pick up shifts and continued to provide exceptional customer service despite the department's challenges.
“Tiffany has shown great care in her approach to customer service,” states her nomination form. "She assists with the training of new employees, and always maintains a positive, can-do attitude."
“Tiffany went above and beyond to volunteer for shifts when the department was faced with a large staffing shortage,” states her nomination form.
Tiffany started with the City of Burleson in May 2020.
