The city received a grant through Texas Parks & Wildlife for park improvements. The sign for this project is now displayed at the park. This means in the coming months you will see various improvements throughout the park. These improvements will include: Upgrades to the splash pad area, tennis court resurfacing which will also include pickleball markings, second tennis court converted to a basketball court, new ground covering in the play area, and handicap accessible picnic tables.

The project is currently in review with the Registered Accessibility Specialist (RAS). Once their review is complete, the project with be registered with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). Once this registration takes place, procurement can begin for the project.

This project will bring much needed upgrades to the City Park, and we are excited to get started!
