Home prices in Tarrant County during March 2025 fell compared to the same period in 2024

In March, the median sale price of a home in Tarrant County fell by $1,111 from the same period in the previous year, while total sales increased by 37.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

There were 2,526 homes sold in March, with a median sale price of $163,048 — a 0.7% decrease from the $164,159 median sale price during the same period of the previous year. In comparison, 1,832 homes were sold in Tarrant County in March 2024.

The U.S. housing market has surged in recent years, with its total value approaching $50 trillion in 2024—nearly five times its value in 2000.

“The value of America’s housing market will likely cross the $50 trillion threshold in the next 12 months as there are not enough homes being listed to push prices down,” said Redfin Economics Research Lead Chen Zhao.
